On your first visit, a thorough evaluation is performed that includes a postural assessment, orthopaedic and neurological evaluation. This assessment can detect any functional imbalances that include muscle weaknesses, joint misalignments and neurological dysfunction. Once the problem is evaluated a diagnosis is made so a personalized treatment plan can be put together to restore balance.


Restoring balance to the body may include any of the following in combination or by itself:

  • Gentle adjustments to the spine and joints through either a hands-on approach or with a light instrument to restore and maintain proper joint motion and alignment.

  • Active Release Technique®.

  • Home exercise programs to retrain the posture.

  • Physical therapy that may include: tens, ultrasound, ice and heat.
